LeaseBuyoutCosts is an independent publication operated by David Jung, who is responsible for its publishing decisions and corrections. David also operates Mortgage Rate Outlook.

The publication name describes this website. It does not imply a separately incorporated company, a licensed financial-advice practice, a lender, a dealership, or a large editorial staff. We do not claim a professional qualification or lender affiliation that has not been established.

What we help you do.

Our calculator separates an official quote from additional charges, cash paid upfront and optional financing. The guides help you read the quote, find relevant official instructions, and prepare questions. Our printable worksheet gives you a place to record the answers.

We focus on the purchase estimate and the process of checking it. We do not source live lending offers, negotiate your purchase, make credit decisions, interpret your entire contract, or submit title documents.

How the content is made.

We use official consumer guidance, regulatory text, state material and lessor instructions for factual statements within their relevant scope. AI tools assist with research, drafting and implementation. Examples are labeled as hypothetical; calculations show their assumptions. A publisher byline identifies responsibility for the publication, not a fictional expert or an implied independent professional review.

The site is currently funded by its operator. Published pages include Google AdSense code for account verification and may display Google advertising when ad serving is enabled. There are no active affiliate or sponsorship arrangements on these pages.
